Two years ago, Goal started a huge art project decorating the defunct premises of Jøtul foundries with enormous graffiti paintings along with more than 50 different artists.

Throughout the ages, graffiti painters have been looking for abandoned premises where you can stand to paint undisturbed, sheltered from the weather, the enormous premises at Kværnerbyen in Oslo were the perfect starting point for a project that would attract artists from Norway and abroad.

During the period of the project, paintings by more than 50 different artists were listed to paint enormous paintings on the 8,000 square meters of walls that surrounded the building over three floors.

The premises are now closed and darkened in anticipation of being demolished and it is no longer possible to see the artworks.

This book is the only thing left of this monumental art project.

OFT-TOUREN som arrangeres årlig fra sør til nord for å promotere nettbutikken til Oslos eneste skikkelige for graffiti materiell avslutter sesong 2018 med et brask i Urtegata 11 på Grønland, lørdag 131018, der de har invitert Skandinavias legende crew All In One. Musikk står Warlocks, Oral-B og Mr.Pimp Lotion for.

All In One ble dannet i 1988 av Circle og Tarik fra Stockholm, Goal fra Oslo, og København-malerne Bates, Side og av-og-på-medlem Great. De har alle vært nøkkelpersoner i graffiti miljøet i hver sin hovedstad siden midten av 80-tallet. Bates er nok mest kjent, han regnes i dag som en av verdens ledende malere, og forlaget From Here To Fame Publishing med bok serien On The Run ga ut en bok med hans verker allerede i 1998.

Circle og Tarik malte alt i 1989 veggmaleriet "Fascinate", som er Skandinavias største og eldste av sitt slag som fortsatt eksisterer, og regnes som en milepæl innenfor graffiti scenen og har vært et viktig symbol at liberaliseringen av synet på graffiti i Skandinavia. Veggen er i dag fredet. Tarik jobber i dag med film, og han debuterte med den dystopiske animasjonsfilmen "Metropia" (2009). Circle driver i dag et tatoveringsstudio og har dessuten solgt Skandinavias dyreste graffiti kunstverk Re-Circle for 100.000,-

Side og Great har i over 30 år vært noen av stil lederne i København-miljøet, Side var i tillegg en av første som ble bøtelagt for å male S-tog, som til og med fikk en notis i Norske aviser (1986). Great har vært en av Bates' trofaste partnere gjennom alle år, når han ikke har hatt graffiti pauser. Han jobber i dag som illustratør.

Goal er den største ringreven i Oslos graffiti miljø, og har siden midten av 1980-årene vært ivrig maler, ideolog og samlingspunkt for Norske malere. Han har også vært en viktig bakmann  når internasjonale graffiti artister har gjestet Oslo. Siden 1989 har han og Tommy Tee laget og utgitt det internasjonale graffiti magasinet FatCap. Det siste nummeret ble utgitt 2013, det jobbes disse dager med en bok.

Fat Cap magazine is proud to present the second issue (96 pages) of 2013. It's been way over ten years since the last time we dropped two issues in one year. We hope you enjoyed the tracksides issue we dropped in May. In issue #19 we take it back to a mix with all kind of walls from the cities and artists we have followed and supported since 1989, plus some fresh new faces that is breaking new ground in the culture.
